July 4th Parade

About this event

We will convene on Friday no later than 9:15 A.M. to ride as a unit in the Arlington Heights July 4 parade.

The assembly area is near the intersection of Oakton and Highland (in the vicinity of St. Peter Lutheran Church.)
Look for the painted numbers on the street..  Our unit number is 37.

Wear patriotic colors and/or your favorite AHBC jersey.  You may also wish to decorate your bike for the occasion.  Parade theme is "Celebrating 100 Years of the Arlington Heights Park District."

The parade begins at 10:00 A.M.  The route is south on Dunton, east on Miner.  The parade disperses at Miner and Hickory.

If you are arriving from a distance and need to park a car,  the east parking lot of St. Peter Church (Highland and Olive) is available.  Or you can park at Miner School or Windsor School on Miner just east of the end of the parade route and ride your bike to the parade start.

We are not permitted to throw any candy or other items into the crowd, but we can hand out items at the curb if we wish.  No "Super Soakers" or other water devices are permitted.

See you all at the parade!
